I’ve posted a few outfits on my Instagram that I haven’t yet shared on the blog! I’ve gotten a few questions about certain pieces so I thought I’d share details!
Some of these items are sold out or from last year so I’ve found similar styles that I also really love! I like the mix of “high and low” or “designer and dupe”. Not everything in your closet has to be a specific brand or expensive. I think when everything in your wardrobe has a recognizable name brand it really shows – and not in a good way. Have some fun! Your clothing is a way to explore your creativity.

Both of these dresses are on MAJOR sale! This Chelsea and Violet chambray dress was already at a great price but now it is on sale for $38!
I love a good classic cotton t-shirt or tank top. This vintage cotton tank from JCrew is a MUST. It fits well and comes in so many colors!
These 7 For All Mankind jeans are my absolute favorite right now! They are distressed in a perfect way where your skin isn’t pushed through in a weird pattern (yikes, never good) and the waistband never stretches out. The striped skirt I actually got from Stitchfix a while back. And I LOVE Stitchfix…more on that later 😉 But here’s a similar style for only $10!!
The Sylvia Benson necklace I’m wearing I actually bought last year at this great boutique on King Street called Palm Avenue. It’s a very preppy and colorful store selling lots of Lilly Pulitzer and Trina Turk. I couldn’t find the exact color that I have online but I have seen it from time to time in Palm Avenue. So, if you’re in Charleston, definitely check it out! 🙂 If you’re looking for a more inexpensive option, I saw these fantastic tassel necklaces at Target! Another great boutique that sells tassel necklaces is The Impeccable Pig.
Earrings and Bracelets
I am VERY obsessed with everything tassel related (and pineapple too, of course). Baublebar has these fantastic dupes of the Oscar de la Renta earrings for a low price of $34! The Argento Vivo earrings are on constant rotation right now (seriously they go with everything) and the bracelets I’ve linked are so simple but gorgeous. The Stella and Dot hand chain is very trendy but still simple enough to wear everyday.
These are all very similar styles to the bags I have in my IG posts. However, the red bag I’m carrying is a bag that H&M constantly carries. They change their colors seasonally and can you believe it only costs $15?! It has that Saffiano leather look and I get compliments on it all the time! I’ve taken it everywhere (casual day outings, late night bar hopping, stuffed inside a suitcase) and it truly looks brand new!
Ok, clearly, I’ve got a thing for taupe colored sandals in all shapes and sizes. But these honestly are so different, with varying price points and ALL COMFORTABLE.
As a newer blogger, it’s definitely a slow learning process on how to create a blog that is even remotely interesting or helpful. Basically, I know what interests me and I know that I love to share but it’s not the easiest thing to translate that into a beautiful and interesting style blog. I have a new appreciation towards all of the style bloggers I admire and how much legitimate hard work they put into each and every post.
I’ve been putting my all into Polished Pineapple and I hope I’ve created something that lands even somewhat well with my followers or people that have accidentally found themselves here during a late night of Instagramming. I’ve had so much fun creating new content as often as I can and I hope y’all are enjoying it. 🙂
