When it is hot in Charleston, an airy, breathable cotton dress is the perfect thing to wear. This dress is a favorite and is SO versatile. I had to run a few errands (i.e. going to the Apple store to replace my cracked screen – the worsttttt) before going to dinner at Oak for a romantic date night. Best part – it’s on sale right now! [details linked below]
I bought these shoes at the end of last summer and I still got a ton of wear out of them. I’m so happy that gladiator style sandals are still stylish but, let’s be honest, I’d probably still wear them even if they weren’t anymore.
This exact style I can’t find anymore but Steve Madden does a good job of keeping things fresh by updating old styles that were popular from previous seasons. I linked the similar pair below!
I also walked around Washington Square with Ben for a little while before dinner. This is one of my favorite mini-parks in Charleston. Not many cities have mini-parks the way New York and San Francisco do so I feel lucky every chance I walk through one here. Washington Square is always breezy and cool even on the hottest day. It even manages to be tranquil, though it is mere steps from a very busy intersection.
My birthday recently passed and I received this pineapple necklace from one of my best friends! (Among many fabulous pineapple-related things that are soon-to-be shared!!) What is it about pineapples? <3
